Installation
You don't have to worry about installing the Flowerail railing - it will be installed by the installer.
You may need to know how to disconnect the railing from the brackets and reattach it if you want to remove it from the window in between.
The railing is detached and secured with four fastening clamps - C1-C4 in the picture.
One half of each clamp is attached to the mounting rail, and the other corresponding half to the railing.
Reel Unplugging
1. The locking clamp is closed by a fixing screw.
2. Loosen the fixing screw.
3. Pull back the locking clip.
4. Detach the clamp halves.
When all 4 clamps are released, the railing is disconnected. Be careful when disconnecting the last clamp to prevent the railing from falling. Lift the lightweight railing, weighing a maximum of four kilograms, into the room through the window.
The mounting rails with the rail-side clamp parts remain in place after the railing is removed.
When reattaching the railing to the window, connect all four clamps in reverse order. Tighten the fixing screws securely.
Weatherproof railing does not need to be removed for winter.
When the cold weather arrives, you can place a bird feeder on the railing, for example, and add Christmas decorations during the holidays. If snow accumulates under the railing, you can simply lift the railing to clean it.
Maintenance
Flowerail does not require active maintenance. If it is correctly installed and used for its intended purpose, there is no need to deal with it – just keep an eye on it. If any looseness has developed, tighten it with a screwdriver.
Observe the load limit specified for your model.
Load the grate as evenly as possible. If the aluminum grate tube bends, it must be taken into account that the aluminum may remain in that position. In such a case, the deformed tube should be carefully bent back straighter.
Flowerail is weather-resistant. It can be left outside for the winter.
During winter and Christmas, spruce garlands, Christmas decorations, and Christmas lights are also well-suited for Flowerail.
If you have temporarily detached Flowerail from its mounting brackets and are reinstalling it, follow the installation instructions again. Before placing the structure on the window sill, ensure that the mounting brackets of the installation rails move freely up and down.
To clean the window sill underneath Flowerail, lift the grate. The articulated joint allows the grate to be lifted for cleaning.
Over the years, the aluminum, of which Flowerail is mainly composed, will become duller and acquire a light gray hue. This is normal and makes Flowerail even more understated on the window.
Attention!
It is strictly forbidden to go onto the Flowerail. You must not stand, sit, lean or rest on it.
If you allow a pet onto the Flowerail, make sure that your pet stays there. The world is full of dangerous temptations.
Be careful with very light containers that the wind may move. If possible, do not leave light containers empty on the railing. If necessary, use elastic ties or other suitable fasteners to secure the containers.
Also be careful with heavy containers. Keep in mind that buckets and pots left by the window can fill with rainwater to the brim and become very heavy.
Keep the area behind the window aesthetic and clean. Do not keep unsuitable items on the Flowerail.
